Overview
QFD allows pending charges to be disputed. Pending charges are called holds or authorizationscalled holds or authorizations. The purpose of the Authorization Review assignment is to confirm that the pending charge posted to the account. QFD will check for the posting for up to five business days. Defer to internal guidelines to know if users should be trained to grant additional time for the authorization to post or if five business days is satisfactory.
Consider if users need to notate any work relating to Authorizations including denying the dispute due to the transaction not posting.
