API Connection

In order to create and manage your claims, QFD needs to connect to your system of record (either through your Core directly or through a custom Middleware), via REST (preferred) or SOAP API calls.

There are a number of API calls that QFD will need to integrate to, each with a different purpose for accomplishing a specific function:

 

Intake and Account Search:

Customer Lookup
Account Data
Transaction Search & Mapping

 

Claim Enrichment:

Block & Reissue
Accounting

 

The development team will build and test these API calls via Postman, with the various endpoints, authentication requirements, sample requests, and sample responses.

The Testing team will then test to ensure that each of these APIs works properly and calls correctly.
