Reporting Offering Details

Business Events

For notification of an event in near real time when it occurs inside QFD, business events can provide detail around an operation and optionally a snapshot of the dispute or claim at the time of the event.  These events can also be used to construct a data warehouse or respond to things that happened in the system such as resolution of a case, card modification or an accounting action.

QFD Report Browser

Dozens of reports are available out of box in the report browser.  These reports can be extended to include and filter on additional fields.  Information can always be exported to PDF or Excel. More information on specific reports and use cases are here.

QFD Data Warehouse

Many data points and more advanced reports are available for extended analysis inside the QFD Data Warehouse.  This data warehouse consumes business events for all Quavo clients and lives in Snowflake.  As an alternative to consuming business events and constructing your own data warehouse, you can utilize the QFD Data Warehouse directly via one of the following options:

Client Managed Access (Data Consumer)

  • This option is recommended for Clients who do have their own Snowflake account.

  • Clients will be a “Data Consumer” in Quavo’s Secure Data Sharing model with Quavo acting as a “Data Provider.”

  • Clients will operate entirely in their own Snowflake account and environment.

  • Clients will be provided a replicated “Data Share” containing the secured views of their Production and Staging data, dictated by their TenantID.

  • Clients can build dashboards and/or ETL their data in any method of their choosing.

  • Any changes to the Secure Data Share Structure, Formatting, or Layout must be approved by the Quavo team.

  • Clients may incur additional costs from Quavo based on usage of Snowflake Credits.

For more technical details, see Snowflake Data Sharing.

To get started with Snowflake Data Sharing, take the following steps:

  1. Talk to your Technology partners about Snowflake Data Sharing to ensure it is something that your organization can support.

  2. Ensure that your organization uses Snowflake already or contact Snowflake to get started.

  3. Let your Client Success Manager know that you'd like to start the process to implement Snowflake Data Sharing.

  4. Gather your Snowflake "Account Locator" and verify where your instance is hosted, to provide to Quavo - This will expedite your setup process.

Quavo Managed Access (Reader Account)

  • This option is recommended for Clients who do not have their own Snowflake account.

  • Access is controlled & managed by Quavo Fraud and Disputes.

  • Client users must be created in Quavo’s Azure Cloud for Security Group Permissions to use SSO.

  • Clients will be provided with a dedicated “WAREHOUSE” (Compute Resources) in Snowflake to ensure their compute resources do not compete with Quavo internal and/or other clients.

  • Clients will be provided a “Read Only” Role for querying use in Snowflake.

    • Data provided includes row restricted access to Production and Staging tables.

    • Clients will not be able to create new views or dashboards using their data.

  • Any changes to Data Structure, Formatting, or Layouts must be approved by the Quavo team.

  • Clients may incur additional costs from Quavo based on usage of Snowflake Credits.

For more technical details, including what actions are restricted in Reader Accounts, see Reader Accounts - Snowflake
