General Settings

This page covers viewing a client, creating a template, and editing a clients settings.

Viewing a Client

All available client info rules will be displayed on the Client Management homepage, where users can create a new client info rule or maintain existing client settings.

1. Create Client

Utilized when creating a new Client Info Rule ID. Users can also create new clients from an established Template.

2. Search Active Clients & More Actions Menu

Real-time search for existing clients. When a client is selected the More Actions dropdown menu will display.

3. Active Client List

All active Client Info Rule IDs are displayed on the Client Management page.

4. Actions Menu

Manage existing Client Info Rule IDs from the actions menu. Clients can edit the Client Info Rule ID, promote changes, or view the Change History.

Templates

This area explains how to create standard templates for similar client maintained configurations.

1. Create Template

New Templates can be created from scratch and utilized to create new clients from the established template.

2. Search Templates

Real-time search for existing templates.

3. Client Templates

List of all existing Templates. Established templates may have configurations set up that are not editable within the Self-Configuration Application.

4. Actions Menu

Templates can be edited from the Actions Menu. Additionally, a new client can be created from the template Action Menu.

Updating a Setting

Make a configuration change and automatically commit changes to staging environment.

Access the Client ID

To view and edit settings for a specific Client Info Rule ID users can hover and click the table row or access the Other Action Menu and select the Edit Option.

  1. User will be brought to the Client Info Rule ID’s configurable settings.

  1. Until a setting is changed the Commit Changes button will remain disabled and “greyed-out” for users.

  1. Updating a setting with enable the Commit Changes button.

  1. When a setting has been changed and the Commit Changes button is enabled, users can start the process of updating a setting in the lower level Staging environment.

  1. The user will be brought to the Change Summary screen where they are required to enter a Change Summary Title and review the changes that are being made.

  1. By clicking the Confirm Commit button users will see the change available within their Staging environment where they can test the change before promoting the change into the Production environment.
