QFD supports automated processes like accounting and letteringBoth Proprietary and Network ATM claims are supported by QFD, however, recovery for ATM disputes will occur outside QFD. Analysts will continue to complete the required assignments within QFD while working outside QFD to complete the investigation and pursue recovery. Both Proprietary and Network ATM claims are supported by QFDthe ATM claim workflows vary depending on whether the transaction occurred on a proprietary network or not. If enabling both claim types, it's important to understand these differences.

Network ATM claims follow the typical path of recovery as with card claims. There is typically more manual chargeback work associated with network ATM transactions. 

Proprietary ATM claims include transactions made with branded ATMs owned by the institution and are worked following most current day processes, as QFD cannot automate the investigation. QFD will continue to automate supporting tasks such as lettering and accounting, but case work is almost exclusively manual
