Overview


Intake training is our opportunity to strengthen learner knowledge on the claim creation process and claim follow-up capabilities. The claim intake process is simple, efficient, and approachable to new users. That said, there are many functions, forms, tools, and information to know in order to successfully create a claim. 

Intake specialists support account holders who are experiencing a stressful situation. We must be patient with account holders and are comfortable explaining the intake process, asking questions in different ways, and simplifying industry terms. Accuracy and discovery are also critical to the intake specialist role. By capturing comprehensive information, we help our contemporaries in the back office be successful in their processes. Depending on a variety of factors, including the intake questionnaire responses, QFD can automate claim processing which expedites resolution making for a better account holder experience.
