Release Plan
Quavo follows an eight-week release schedule that allows us to increase quality while minimizing disruptions and risk to production environments. Over the year, there will be four patch releases and two major releases.
Release Types
A patch is a repair job for a piece of programming designed to resolve functionality issues, improve experience, or enhance security.
A feature release involves the distribution of the final version or the newest version of a software application. Generally, a software release signifies the unveiling of a new or upgraded version of the application.
By separating patches from feature releases, we will be able to continue delivering high-quality software releases that meet the needs and expectations of our clients.
