Description

When a potential match is located or the SLA for wait for posting expires the Authorization Review assignment is created.

Details

Opening the assignment will display a list of transactions that have posted since the authorization and allow the user to identify the matching record.

To process the assignment, the user MUST select a transaction then click Apply.  If no transactions are displayed, or if no match is identified, click Cancel and select one of the actions below.

While the authorization is pending, the following actions are available from the Other Actions menu:

  • Exact Match - The system will automatically associate the posted transaction and add it to the claim.
  • Possible Match - An assignment will be generated for a user to review all possible matches and select the match if present.
  • No Match - The system will continue to check each day for new postings and no additional action is taken.

An SLA deadline is set to 5 business days by default and, when expired, the system no longer checks for posted transactions.  

When a posting is found, the original dispute is set to a "Resolved-PostedDisputeCreated" status, and a new dispute ID is created for the posted transaction.

When potential matches are presented to a user, each potential match displays the matching iteration that triggered the review.
