Overview

Software change management, also known as change control or version control, employs a systemic methodology to managing changes to software applications and code.

Quavo provides a comprehensive change management procedure for all requested production modifications. The change management team's goals are:

  • Provide stability, awareness, and risk reduction to all production releases of all urgencies

  • Ensure that separation of duty policies are fulfilled

  • Provide assurance to Quavo's clients and shareholders that experts review releases prior to being introduced into business critical environments

All production changes for all reasons are required to go through Quavo's Change Approval Board (CAB). This team helps ensure that changes are carefully evaluated, tested, and deployed in a controlled manner, minimizing the risk of errors and disruptions. The CAB meets weekly for routine changes and on-demand for emergency changes. A full description of the change control process is available upon request.
