Disaster Recovery
Overview
Quavo is committed to providing an environment that never experiences a true Severity 1 incident that causes business losses for any of our clients. We use highly available, enterprise grade infrastructure in QFD's cloud offering. Below are some details around common disaster and recovery scenarios:
Physical Disasters - QFD cloud is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Production environments, and the business applications and data deployed in them, are protected by multi-zone automatic failover and fully replicated database and application instances. Physical disaster impacts on client environments are extremely unlikely.
Database Replication - In addition to the primary database, a secondary database is available for use in disaster recovery. The secondary database is a hot standby of the primary one and provides near-real-time failover capability.
Disaster Plans - Quavo maintains disaster plans that include specific roles and responsibilities in the course of restoration, validation and even full reconstitution of environments if necessary. These plans are tested on a regular basis.
Disaster Response - Quavo's team and supporting relationships are available on a 24x7x365 basis to respond to any incidents. The support team is fully capable of performing their responsibilities from any location and is geographically decentralized.
