Transaction Table
- Kristafanie Somers
Overview
The dispute table includes details about the dispute status, transaction type, amount, and can be filtered to reflect desired information. The transaction table offers users a quick glance at the disputed activity and the statuses, which allows them to easily see which transactions have been paid, denied, or remain open.
How-To
Filtering
The table can be customized to fit an intake user’s preferences using the Group and Fields buttons. These functions are especially helpful when reviewing a claim that has many disputes on it. These tools only impact this case and do not impact the default view.
Group
The Group function organizes the disputes by the selected field. Group by Description or Status to easily see all disputes from the same merchant or all denied disputes. Users can apply as many groups as needed.
Fields
The Fields function adjusts the data displayed in the table. Add the Deny Reason column to quickly see the deny reason. Users can adjust the fields as much as needed.
Dispute Statuses
The dispute status column reflects the assignment that needs to be completed, indicate that the dispute is in a wait status, and how the dispute was resolved.
We recommend reviewing the following dispute statuses with the learner group. For a full list of dispute statuses, click here.
Open: The dispute is currently being investigated. The suffix indicates the specific assignment on the dispute.
Pend: The dispute is in a wait status. The suffix indicates the pend reason.
Resolved: The dispute has been processed. The suffix indicates the decision.
Transaction Details
Transaction Details can be accessed using the ellipses at the end of the row. Transaction details reflect information on the charge including the ARN, POS entry mode, network, and much more. This function is valuable to users who are skilled and knowledgeable with the claim resolution process.
Recovery Details
Recovery Details can be accessed using the ellipses at the end of the row. The recovery details page reflects relevant information about recovery actions including Verifi and Ethoca collaboration and the method of recovery. This function is valuable to users who are skilled and knowledgeable with the claim resolution process.
Learner Activity
To enhance the learners' understanding of dispute statuses, we recommend completing an activity. This could be in the form of a short quiz, interactive game (Kahoot!), or a self-guided worksheet.
