This waiting assignment has an SLA deadline of 15 calendar days while the application waits for a response from the acquirer. This accommodates the 10 calendar day limit enforced by Visa, as well as a buffer of 5 days to record the response. If arbitration is not initiated by the time the SLA expires, it is assumed that the issuer action was accepted by the acquirer and the dispute is resolved as paid.
