Client UAT

Overview

This page serves as a guide to ensure the quality and functionality of QFD before go-live. You’ll find step-by-step guidelines, best practices, and essential tips to successfully plan, execute, and document your UAT process.

It’s critical for the team to understand that UAT is not going to produce an issue-free system; OOTB software will continue to require tweaking.

Getting Started

Some steps must be completed prior to UAT beginning.

  • SSO setup and access provisioned

  • Training complete

    • Intake

    • Back Office

    • Admin

  • UAT plan established with PM

Preparedness

The following are recommended to ensure testing preparedness.

  • Familiarity with the tests that will be run

  • Credentials for internal testing tools

  • Testing teams established

Process

Your PM will meet with you to review the excel below and personalize it to your onboarding. This establishes your UAT plan.

You’ll then determine the timeline with your PM - typically 2 weeks.

Once code is complete, you can begin your end to end testing, providing feedback and requests for configuration updates as you go.

When the document is complete, you can provide it back to your PM with any final changes.
