Credit Bureau Maintenance

Credit Bureau Maintenance

When enabled, this optional flow will generate the assignments necessary to update consumer credit reporting status.  Unique parameters and/or instructions may be configured based on whether a case is created, accepted, or declined.

There are three typical use cases for this type of maintenance:

  1. When a credit card account is blocked and reissued, the trade line for the old account must be removed from the consumer's credit report. (See Account type)
  2. When a claim is filed or resolved, the status of the trade line must be updated on the consumer's credit report. (See Status type)
  3. When a claim is reopened, the status of the trade line must be updated on the consumer's credit report. (See Status type)

Extension Points

To configure "Account" type maintenance, update Execute Credit Bureau Maintenance Pre-Conditions

To configure "Status" type maintenance, update Credit Bureau Status Maintenance Pre-Conditions

To configure the maximum number of retry attempts for the integration service, update D_ImplConfig.MaxCreditBureauMaintenanceServiceRetries.
