QFD has the built-in capability to block cards and reissue new cards to customers. The system can be configured to do this manually or via an API service and can be customized as such.
The block and reissue flow is executed for fraud claims on card accounts. The Execute Account Maintenance Preconditions are evaluated to determine which of the following actions are executed.
Action DescriptionAUTO Executes the Service Block and Reissue flow. MANUALBLOCK Executes the Manual Block and Reissue flow. SKIP The flow is skipped.
If a block is completed, the Credit Bureau Maintenance flow is executed to facilitate the removal of the blocked account.
