BIX Extract

Overview

Extract data from QFD and load it into a data warehouse with Business Intelligence eXchange (BIX). Using this addon allows for the use of QFD's data in a warehouse or similar analytics environment. This allows clients to join information with other systems or perform advanced calculations.

Responsibilities

Quavo Responsibilities	Provide data dictionary and data relationship information to client Provide access to client for CSV drop point SFTP server Support client in understanding and consumption of extract files
Client Responsibilities	Build mechanism to download and load extracts from QFD drop point to internal systems

Success Criteria

QFD should produce extracts of client data in CSV format that are accessible and readable by client systems in a test environment.

Best Practices

QFD's out of box reporting is real-time and great for operational analysis and some light strategic reporting, but for an organization that wants to do deep analysis on disputes data, we recommend doing most of that type of reporting out of the system that BIX is feeding.

BIX files are retained by Quavo for 30 days.
