Card Maintenance
During intake of a Fraud claim, if the card used to complete the transactions is still active, QFD will advise the user that the card will be blocked. QFD does not support leaving the transacting card open.
If supported by the API, the user can have the card reissued and can also opt to have the new card rush delivered, advising of fees as applicable. Â

QFD has the built-in capability to block cards when reported lost and reissue new cards and account numbers to customers. The system can be configured to do this manually or via an API service and can be customized as such.
The block and reissue flow is executed for fraud claims on card accounts. The Block & Reissue Pre-Conditions are evaluated to determine which of the following actions are executed.
Action | Description |

AUTO | Executes the Service Block and Reissue flow. |
MANUALBLOCK | Executes the Manual Block and Reissue flow. |
SKIP | The flow is skipped. |
If a block is completed, the Credit Bureau Maintenance flow is executed to facilitate the removal of the blocked account. Â
If you’re seeking for Block and Reissue to be completed by QFD but apart from the above process, we’ll need an API specific to it.
It is also possible for you to handle reissue without QFD.
