Mastercard Recovery Work

Overview

Mastercard follows one set recovery workflow that begins with the chargeback. If the merchant responds, the Review Representment task will generate, allowing the user to write-off or deny the dispute, or initiate pre-arbitration. If the merchant responds to the pre-arbitration attempt, the Review PreArbitration Response task will prompt the user to write-off or deny the dispute, or initiate arbitration. 

Users who work this assignment group will need to be familiar with response timeframes and what information needs to be included in each response. Additionally, users will need to know best practices when reviewing merchant documents.
