Mastercard Representment
Overview
When a Mastercard dispute is declined or partially accepted in the Mastercard Dispute Response flow, this flow is executed.Â
The Representment Preconditions are evaluated to determine if the dispute should be automatically written off by the system, or reviewed by a user. When it is determined that the response should be reviewed, Review Representment is generated and prompts the user to determine next steps. The user must choose to accept the decision, partially accept the decision, or decline the decision.Â
If the decision is accepted, the user will be prompted to complete the Final Investigation Flow by writing off or denying the dispute. If the user chooses partially accept the decision, the Issuer Accept Partial flow is executed to handle liability processing for the remaining amount.Â
If the users partially accept or decline the decision, they'll be prompted to execute one of the following recovery actions and answer any required questions.
The options that are available to the user will depend on recovery option applied. View each of the recovery actions shown for more details.
Note:Â When accepting multiple representments at once QFD will not longer display a letter preview message.
Correspondence
If recovery is pursued, the user is prompted to send the optional Representment Response letter.
