Billing Cycles

As mentioned in Regulatory Service Level Agreements, the Statement Cycle Date is a critical piece of information that is needed to calculate that date that consumer credit disputes must be resolved by in order to be compliance with Regulation Z.  Generally this information is provided by the account integration that provides all the necessary details about the claimant's account.  In the event that this information is not available, there is another solution, as defined below.

Cycle Dates by BIN

As shown below, the Client Information rule allows power users to define cycle dates based on BIN.  For many issuers, this provides a sufficient method for calculating Reg Z dates since all of their accounts within a BIN cycle on the same day each month.
