Mastercard is revising the chargeback rules to integrate the Late Presentment chargeback, from the point-of-interaction error dispute family to the authorization-related chargeback family.  

Added additional conditions to determine the “Expiration of Chargeback Protection Period" when disputing an Authorization related chargeback.

Mastercard is introducing a new transaction identifier called Transaction Link Identifier (TLID). This transaction identifier, generated by Mastercard, is designed to help promote an improved and consistent linking of life cycle activity occurring after the original transaction and other related transactions.
