External Case Status Widget Enhancements

The new and improved status widget is here, with a new look, layout, and features that will make it quicker and easier for intake users to obtain status information on a claim.  

What's New?

  • New landing pages for claim list and claim status
  • Added a status progress bar for a quick view of where the claim's at in its lifecycle
  • Added the ability to change the communication channel and resend communication
  • Added an Attachment section for users to view documents on the claim 
  • Updated the Recovery Actions to provide pertinent recover details in table format
  • Updated the Withdrawal Request process to allow users to request a withdrawal for selected disputes
  • Updated the Reopen Request process to only allow users to submit a request once, while the reopen request is being reviewed 
  • Updated the lock release time on Reopen Requests so back office users can immediately review a reopen request

ACH Enhancements

Extensive changes have been made to enhance ACH processing in QFD.

   What's New?

  • Updated intake questionnaires
  • New Dispute Reason for Merchandise/Service related disputes
  • A new internal only question to gather the claim intake channel 

Once submitted, the Intake Channel can be identified in the Case Assets 

  • Configurable ACH Stop Payment timeframes for both recurring and non-recurring transactions
  • Configurable instructions in the Revoked Authorization questionnaire
  • Stop Payment disclosures added to What Happens Next bulleted list in the Confirmation letter
  • Obtain verbal attestation to complete the Written Statement of Unauthorized Dispute (WSUD) on behalf of the account holder
  • ACH Returns can be automated with a configurable Batch recovery flow.

Bill Pay Claims (1.0)

Bill Pay is a service to schedule and pay a business or person electronically or via check. The Bill Payment transaction type is protected by Regulation E and can now be disputed within QFD!

RTP and Zelle Claim Reasons

Real Time Payment (RTP) Claims

RTP (Real-Time Payments) is a payment processing network used to send money electronically between banks in the United States. Unlike ACH, these payments are processed real-time, so funds are immediately available. RTP is a popular way to move money and volume is on the rise.  Scammers target these transaction types because of the large amounts that can be transferred via the RTP network and the speed at which the money moves. QFD now supports RTP disputes!

Zelle Claims

Zelle is a peer-to-peer money transfer app that allows individuals to send and receive money within minutes. Unlike other money transfer apps, Zelle does not charge a fee for an instant transfer.  More than 1700 banks include Zelle in their banking app. The popularity and ease of use has led to a significant rise in peer-to-per transfers and fraud claims.

QFD includes support for end-to-end Zelle dispute processing to help mitigate losses for financial institutions and improve customer experience.
