Visa Case Creation
When a Visa transaction is disputed and RTSI is enabled, this flow is executed to establish a case in the Visa Resolve Online (VROL) system and retrieve additional details about the transaction. If a case does not exist already, the Visa Enrichment flow is executed to perform a Transaction Inquiry and obtain details about the clearing record. After the disputed transaction is enriched the system will call visa using the associated transaction group id to check for any merchant credits. If Visa identifies a merchant credit with a match score of 100 the system will move the dispute to check for merchant credit to be denied. If no credit is located the system will then attempt to retrieve the authorization record using the clearing data. If multiple possible matches are returned, a Match Authorization Record assignment is generated for a user to match the valid record.
