Mastercard Execute Chargeback

This flow is called from Mastercard Dispute to handle chargeback execution activities.

If the Mastercom API is enabled...

1. The system will automatically create a chargeback via the API.
2. If the service call to create the chargeback fails, a Create Chargeback Service Failed assignment will be generated and prompt a user to review the details and retry the service.

If the Mastercom API is NOT enabled...

1. An Execute Chargeback assignment will be generated in the Recovery step and prompt a user to satisfy all dependencies and submit the chargeback via an external system.
2. The Upload Documents flow will be executed to prompt a user to upload any necessary chargeback documents to the external system after a pre-configured amount of time has passed.

Once the above activities are completed, a chargeback has been successfully submitted and the Mastercard Dispute flow is resumed.
