Addendum Dispute
Conditions
In Mastercard, an addendum dispute is the dispute of a separate transaction that occurs after a valid transaction involving the same merchant and the same cardholder and is applicable when the following conditions are met.
- The cardholder engaged in a valid transaction with the merchant.
- A subsequent transaction occurred with that same merchant without the cardholder’s consent.
- The cardholder contacted the merchant, or attempted to contact the merchant, to resolve the
dispute.
Dependencies
A cardholder letter, email, message, or completed Dispute Resolution Form describing the cardholder’s complaint in sufficient detail to enable all parties to understand the dispute.
