Late Presentation
Conditions
May be used by an Issuer or Issuer Processor for a Chargeback relating to a Card Transaction when the date of the Issuer's receipt of Transaction clearing data is more than the applicable number of calendar days after the date of the Transaction permitted for the industry or MCC of the Card Transaction. Transaction clearing data must be submitted no later than XX calendar days after the card transaction (see table below).

Following are examples of applicable scenarios:
- Issuer or Issuer Processor received Transaction clearing data from the Acquirer or Acquirer Processor outside the applicable number of calendar days after the Card Transaction date
- Issuer or Issuer Processor cannot collect the Transaction amount from the Cardholder for any reason and the Transaction clearing data related to the Transaction was submitted by the Acquirer or Acquirer Processor more than the applicable number of calendar days after the Acquirer or Acquirer Processor submitted the related Authorization Request to the Issuer or Issuer Processor
- A delayed delivery Card Transaction billed to an Account after the Cardholder canceled the delayed delivery Card Transaction
Timing
An Issuer or Issuer Processor may initiate a Chargeback within the following timelines as applicable:
- If a Transaction Retrieval Request (TRR) is submitted, a Chargeback must be initiated between 60 calendar days of the TRR initiation date and 30 calendar days of the close date of such TRR.
- If there is no TRR, the Chargeback must be initiated within 120 calendar days of the Processing date of the Card Transaction.

- Is not a PPE transaction in an amount less than $50.
